  1. Really pleased with how well everyone responded tonight – even the practice starts were “mostly” clean – so much less hectic, but we still raced competitively.

Had great battle with ysag at start until the kerb glitch chucked me off and nearly took him/Storm Cloud with me. Sorry for holding you up BTW, I kept nailing the exit if not the entry, but clearly a big speed gap between us!

Then had a nice run-in towards the end with Kost Church just as things seemed to be getting quiet.

    • I could not gain traction at exit of turn 7 so overtaking was impossible. I had two small contact with you and Storm Cloud luckily there were no big effects. And big congratulations to coret3x. He had good setup and strategy. Really good work.

  2. Another busy race! Notable bits:

You’ve heard of crashing in sympathy? How about crashed in surprise? In the early laps when I caught the back of the pack, I was behind someone at the end of the main straight and they braked 100m before my braking point and in complete shock I jammed on the brakes and ended up spearing into the wall!

A bit later on I was chasing ysag when Bobby appeared out of nowhere at 90 degrees to the track. Squeezed by, but the funny bit is that as I went past I leant to the left in my chair – I’d like to think it helped :)

Other than that, completely normal race.

    • Sorry Storm that was me. I always brake between the 150-100 meter bord after the long straight to get a better exit for the next straight. I saw that your braking point was somewhere between 100-50 meter bord. I just can’t make it if i brake later. Trail braking is something i am learning, so sorry for the unpleasant surprise. It was not intentional. It also happend before(Mexico i think). You where behind me and all of a sudden i saw you fling bye and locking your brakes after a straight. Same situation.
My only defense is that i am not as fast as you! :(

    • Apology not necessary – wasn’t your fault at all. You can brake wherever you like. I come through the pack enough I should be more aware of that sort of thing.

    • > the funny bit is that as I went past I leant to the left in my chair – I’d like to think it helped :)

Ha, I often do exactly the same thing! It hasn’t failed me yet :P
