A new season of the midweek league will be starting soon and there are two options for the car; RSR’s Formula 3 car and Virtua Simulazioni’s Formula Renault 3.5 2014 car. We will be holding a test event at Vallelunga on Wednesday 14th September to get your feedback.
For the Formula Renault we will be using the high downforce (HDF) option. The server is online with both cars available to practice.
Timings (European/Amsterdam): Race 1 8:30pm, Race 2 9:15pm. Join TS at 8:15 pm
Event Structure: 10min Qualifying and then 20min race for each car. Assists Allowed. TS Mandatory.

the fr 3.5 is a fantastic car such a joy to drive, such a handful yet fast and accurate, love Virtua Simulazionis work, their 1998 mclaren is probably the most refined single seater mod for AC
I would agree 100% about the FR, though not about the “1988?” Mclaren – which is a masterpiece, but dreadful to drive. Need something less hardcore for a fun league, hopefully the FR is that car.
no no the 1998 Hakkinen mclaren, the mp4 13 i believe, ffb had to be turned up a bit though
I got years confused – yes, lovely car model & sound. I wrote to VS saying the handling was too harsh/too rigid for Assetto Corsa’s physics engine. They wrote back agreeing but saying that Kunos needed to fix it, not them.
Ironically, the red pack didn’t solve that problem at all. Kunos just got around it by making the F1 cars much less stiff than they are in real life :/
That thing is impossible to drive with no assists, I found it very frustrating :(
Gosh, that thing was a nightmare to control.
Thankfully the FR3.5 is rather easier :)
I’ll be gunning for the Formula Renault. Prefer it much more over the F3 Car :)
I would already second that too. Try this car (part of Renault DLC) with Project Cars – it’s even better if memory serves right.
Id be in for the whole season if we go with the fr 3.5, I miss throwing a car around the corners with opposite lock, The f3 is too slow for that, and the sf15T is too sophisticated for that

Borussia Dortmunds Matchday in the CL unfortunately, maybe ill join for Race 2.
