AC SF17T F1 Hybrid League – German GP

We start another season and this time back to our roots – an F1 hybrid car with our own modded physics and like that one, the best-in-town (albeit not the prettiest “yet”)! The Nurburgring never promises much, yet always seems to deliver the most spectacular of races. Bring it on!

  1. Well, that went as bad as I can do I think – strategy wrong, got undercut by Coretex and too low wings. Nice battles with my teammate and great fun trying to hold Marcelinho off at the end. I nearly did it too as he couldn’t really get a run on me.

  2. Ah crap. Had 1 hour with the car beforehand to try and make a set and gauge tyre wear, fuel, etc. Q was quite good but it kind of fell apart in the Race, couldn’t keep up with Jan and wasn’t confident with rear of the car so spun 2 times into the barrier and acquired FW damage. 3rd not bad in the grandscheme of things :).

  3. I think we spent too much time going round-and-round in it when we were testing Storm Cloud – need to get racing now.

  4. I see in replay that I bumped Marcelinho off track in T3. Very sorry dude! I am okay with us changing positions in the end results if race control decides so.

It was a fun race and I really enjoyed the DRS app. At the end it was a bit lonely, so I am hoping for more people attending. I found the SF15-T modification a lot better now and I am hoping to do some practice before next race. A vacation coming up, so I’m probably back at the Hockenheim race.

    • Good you came clean and if stewards agree with you, good that Marcelinho got past me at the end! or not?

    • The apology is enough for me ;) No need to switch positions imho. But please leave room in the future :)
Had fun, but wing setting was too high. Overtaking even with DRS was pretty much impossible. Perhaps i can snitch a good setup next time. Jan, perhaps? :D
