Seems I’m gonna have to miss this one aswell, not to bad seeing how far off I am. Little bummed though
On the races we had you didn’t look much off pace. if we want to catch storm, than if he does 100 laps practice we should 500 to maybe close to him after a year
That’s true haha. Malaysia always has been a mystery to me though. But I’ll catch up for Brasil!
Wow!
Got nice and settled in with 2nd place early on and after about 5 laps the leader started to struggle with his tyres so thought I’d better pass. Then Kost Church comes thundering up behind and I decide to pit first to protect my lead with the undercut. Pushed hard for a couple laps to seal the deal then waited for Kost Church to pit. And waited and waited, but he didn’t! I closed down the gap but couldn’t get him because my mediums were going off a bit and Kost Church did the whole race on softs!
Incredible job to keep the tyre like that. Chapeau Mr Church!
My race not worth a mention, how did Church do that? I thought he was on a suicide mission. Race of the season from him!
A smooth no big mistakes race, but no pace as well :) First stint was just following bobby than thought to pit 2-3 laps earlier to take advantage of the mediums, it worked for some laps were i was in front after pits but he took the place back with fresher tires and more experience.
After practise race i decided to do 0 stops, because it was the only way to get close to Storm with his remarkable ride this seasson,Plan for the race was to avoid crashes and risky overtakes, which i luckily managed to do.After Storms pit he was faster about 2-3sec every lap,and i though that he would eventually pass me without any problem, but he suddenly slowed on 3laps till the end,and i managed to keep the gap.As Bobby said, race of the seasson for me.
