We finally kick off for real with a return to the 50% distance race format :)

There’s an update to the rules app (we know you all love more downloads :P) AC FtF Rules App (v4.2) You must have it enabled and on your screen for the race.

PLEASE NOTE – THERE IS NO CLEAR PIT ENTRY LINE ON THIS TRACK FOR SOME REASON, SO WE WILL “NOT” BE MONITORING PIT ENTRY SPEEDS ON THIS OCCASION!!!!! LUCKILY, THIS IS A TRACK WHERE NO ADVANTAGE CAN BE GAINED BY SPEEDING, SO PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SPEED IN! WE WILL TEST THIS IN ADVANCE IN FUTURE

To clarify the pit entry rules:

  • Speeding at the pit entry = 1 warning (equal to a corner cut)
  • No reasonable attempt to slow down = a reprimand or worse.

You may wish to remind yourself of the corner cutting rules before the league begins.

  3. Once the dust settles on the odd incident (stewarding’s going to be busy!), I hope most people realise what a great race this was, so intense from start to end.

    Hope most of you had fun!

  4. My Highlights:

    Don’t think the highlights properly represent how hard it was to try and get past Storm_Cloud!

    • After the last stop you have to earn a pass on me :) I hope I left you a full car width when we touched.

      Apart from that, wrong strategy and the right tyres, or right strategy and the wrong tyres, and my throttle pedal is playing up again, so it wasn’t a particularly memorable race – except for the “LOOK OUT STORM CLOUD!!” moment. That was close!

    • HOLY SHIT i didn’t realise how close i came all i saw was a flash of storm cloud as i was torpedoing towards you flat out glad i didn’t annihilate you. Glad i could add a little bit of excitement to your race!

    • Yep, I would definitely recommend that or using a mute key (Settings -> Keybinds, toggle mute).

      You can also adjust the activation threshold under Settings -> Voice -> Input Sensitivity (untick the box and move the slider). It’s probably too low by default.

  6. Thx guys for a great race. Had much fun after half a year without simracing. I skipped qualifying because i was worried that i would be a bit rusty for the first corners and did not want to cause unnecessary problems.
    I made a full onboard race video, if anyone wants to watch it, here it comes ;)

    If i have time, i will see you in Spa next time. :)
