1. Away on business, 50-50 as to whether I’ll be back.

   Y’all know the drill by now.

2. Forgot about the one week gap. Hope everyone realises and can make it.

3. I’m not a big fan of the 1 week gap neither. But it’s my opinion only… ;)

4. I will be around as I am not well today, so no meeting. However, may still miss race if I’m feeling bad at 7:30 – just juggling the paracetamol tablets as I really want to race here and we appear to be a bit short.

5. Thanks for the race. That was some intense stuff right there. The move around the outside in T2/3 and then squeezing mediums against Storm_Cloud who had a 2.5-3.5s advantage per lap.

   E: just took a look at the race graph. Speaking of psychological advantage, i was sweating seeing those lap times from S_C

6. Ha! Nearly got you! I was laughing because seeing the gap come down I knew you’d be really feeling it and I was loving twisting the knife. You withstood the pressure so you deserved to keep the position – I had my fun making you sweat!

   Anyway, had no clue about strategy so readied my pitstop for Soft or Medium, depending on how things went. Got well out of shape fighting with Jan and then we touched as I was sliding all over the final hairpin. So I had a moral dilemma. On the one hand, I spin and someone else spins because of it, you should give back the place; on the other hand I had been out of shape all the way into the apex and a driver of Jan’s ability should have the wherewithal to avoid me. Giving six inches of room instead of backing off and passing safely makes it 50-50, right?

   Anyway, as I was debating with myself karma lent a hand. I glanced down at the standings and thought I saw Jan pit, rendering the giving the place thing back a bit pointless. Then I spun and hit inside wall at T2, so the racing gods decided it was a penalty after all :P

   Guessed at a two stop strategy and popped in to fix the front wing. Had a good play with Olivier until he dropped back a bit and then set off after Syntax, but I’d messed around and taken so long to recover from the spin (honestly – watch the replay, it’s laughable) he was too far ahead, even though I was quicker on fresh tyres – as I said, good job mate :)

7. Nice race from me considering I was a huge sweatball with some kind of virus all evening (and still am now!). Drove like my mum all race, but one stop and very few errors was worthy of a good 4th place.

9. It was very tight race from beginning. I still dont know how is Storm_cloud doing his starts. He made mistake in lap 3 i think, so i was back in lead and tried to survive on that US tyre for as long as i could.

   Then Storm overtook me on DRS and right after made mistake in last hairpin. I still think it was possible to go withnout contact – if storm didn´t move. But he moved, right into my way. I hope in wasn´t on purpose. I was aiming to 1 stop, but when i calculated i have a free pitstop, i went for it.

   I´ve never won in China, so i´m pretty happy it happened now :) i my maybe last season.

   • I wasn’t doing much on purpose at the hairpin! Make sure the marshals take a look if you didn’t like it.

     Should get at least one place for not waiting, but it’s not important – here for the fun, not the results, or arguments.

    • Hardly anything to investigate again – this particular mix of drivers is the best we’ve ever had IMO – and if Hermann Tilke had a clue how to design corners properly, we’d probably have been incident-free again.

      If anyone has any friends of a like mind, let them know about us :)

      I will make a statement on this waiting thingy before next race, just so we know where we stand – nothing changed, just seems there are some confusing grey areas.

11. Happy that you are happy with the league active drivers. :) I’m personnally aiming at remaining as active driver for the next 10 years… ;)
