Best track ever! GL boys
Yeah, I’d say that of this season’s tracks, apart from Spa, Road Atlanta, Nurburgring, Suzuka, Albert Park, Sakhir, Shanghai & Estoril, Korea is indeed the best one Frenzy ;)
I think it’s all right – there are a couple of interesting corners. A bit flat though.
First sector i can understand the boredom but i love the second and third sector of the track
It is not wide enough in the slow parts :(
Therr is only one race line…
Also the tyre management is terrible. Well You all know now what I think about this track. Lol…
Bad day at office, bad day at track guaranteed – but not a bad day for Force India as my teammate finally made it around corner 1 and drove to a good strategy to win :)
Hope my general flatness of spirit didn’t rub off too much on you all – next stop Japan!
Congrats also to Church who is pulling through the ranks at the moment and Elgurke had a good race too.
Good day @ home but so badly kicked off the track at lap 2…
That’s not race…
I just saw the streaming. It seems it was my fault… I apologize.
Belgian Hooligan :)
I think we need to do Atlanta every week – focus us on “the good side”. Thanks to Andrzej again for his streaming, so much more relaxing listening to him than being out there tonight.
Monolith destroyed my race => congrats, good job in T1… nothing else what to say.
Yea I guess that was on me. I’m sorry about that. I tried to be careful but I apparently it wasn’t careful enough. To me it looked like you had already made it past the apex and that you were in position to accelerate again, but from the replay it looks like you couldn’t go as I expected because you had another car in front of you. It was a split second thing, but in the end it was on me. Hope you can accept my apology.
Good race. All went to plan for a change.
Close qualifying then I got a good start and was able to claim the inside kerb and stay out of everyone’s way and amazingly – I MADE IT THROUGH T1! The trick was not to buy the wife flowers so she won’t be overcome with romance getting home from work and perform some kind of choke-hold hug on me. No such problems today!
A few skirmishes with Mostafa9c in the early laps. I didn’t see the point in fighting like cat and dog as he was quick and not really holding me up, so I thought I’d let the race “crinkle out” and develop through the pitstops. Still in 2nd after the stops there was no pressure from behind as Church’s excellent start faded ever so slightly (great job by the way!) so I could get close to Mostafa9c and see if he made a mistake, as he’d spun in from of me in Germany. A couple of laps after the stops he obliged and that was that really.
Just watched some of the stream – it’s really well put together, great job!
