Sprint Championship – Round 1

Sup all.

The last 2 seasons of the F25 have been very successful, but with only 2 months until the new release of the next game we have decided to organise a sprint championship. This should give us some exciting, close racing that can be enjoyed by all drivers.

It will consist of 5 lappers with one-shot qualifying, at all the tracks from the 2014 season. We’ll have 4 themed rounds of 4-5 races each on the same schedule as the F25, with the first round taking place on Saturday 11th April at 9pm CEST/8pm BST.

There will be no teams and teammates so it will be a point free-for-all to come out on top and be crowned sprint champion!

Just let us know each week if you’ll attend by clicking the button above.

Upcoming Events & F25 Review

Hi everyone!

First off, we’d like to announce our plans for the upcoming weeks. We will be holding a sprint championship, consisting of 5-laps races at all 19 races of the calendar over the next 4 Saturdays. More details and a sign up for the first event will follow shortly.

With that cat out of the bag, let’s turn to a review of perhaps our closest F25 season ever.

Many correctly tipped @Scottydog69uk for his 4th consecutive F25 title despite starting from the back, but in the end @Raven was cruelly robbed of the crown by a disconnection while leading at Singapore, the final race. Still, congratulations to Scotty for sealing it with a 10th podium out of 14 races.

Meanwhile the consistent @MinedPolecat34 was only beaten to 2nd due to Raven’s 5-2 advantage in race wins, and @Maximilian and @BobTheDealer also drove well to 4th and 5th.

As for new drivers, debutants @Rage and @TwinBarrelJay entertained as The Dulux Men, while @D-Grande stood out finishing a very creditable 6th in his first F25 season.

Stalwarts @puluminati and @Frenzy also did well with the latter claiming a hollow but hard-earned victory in the last round. Meanwhile the other non-qualifier and general bad luck magnet @Mystro was held to 9th, a point behind his teammate, mostly thanks to Codemasters’ cruel kerbs then a GPU failure with 2 weeks left.

Max and Raven proved the strongest pairing as the aptly named Move Over Bitches took the Team Championship title ahead of Polecat and Bob’s CatNipDealers, followed by Scotty and Frenzy’s Doosey Dogs. This season clearly proved that funny team names are back in style!

Overall, it was a great season and we look forward to bringing back the F25 league for F1 2015, which is due to be released on Friday 12th June.

Anyway, see you on track for the sprints next weekend!

Social Event – Abu Dhabi

Hello Everybody!

After 4 weeks of league racing, we thought we’d change the pace a bit with a 50% race at Abu Dhabi. Since we won’t drive here in this F25 season, it is the perfect choice of track – and hopefully we’ll get to enjoy the pretty sunset! But putting that aside, what really matters is not the sky, but to have a fun and fair Social Event.

Be sure to indicate above whether or not you’ll be attending. We hope to see you this Saturday on track! Summary of the rules:

  • 50% race at Abu Dhabi
  • 15 minutes qualification
  • All assists allowed
