Hey guys,
Hope you all enjoyed the events we did on the last 2 Saturdays. This weekend we’re going to have our third and last event before the actual F25 league starts again.
The Friendly Fire Challenge: An idea by @Rhobium, created a little more than 2 years ago which was a great success. We’d like to do it again with some tweaks in the rules and weather settings.
The main idea is to finish as far in front of your AI teammate as you can in a series of 3 lap races. You score 1 point for every position you finish in front of your teammate, or -1 point for every position you are behind him!
Starting order of the grid is going to be random. Contenders are gonna switch cars every race to keep it semi-fair. Crashing people off is allowed but be smart about it regarding where your teammate is driving.
I hope to see you on Saturday!

Hello everybody, and welcome to our second F25 season for Codemasters’ F1 2014!
Season 8 is go! Last time out saw the dominant @Scottydog69uk steaming to his third title – even starting from the back, he was unstoppable! Can anyone match him this time round? We’re looking forward to another season of spectacular overtakes, amazing battles and most of all, a load of fun and fair racing.
As per usual for the F25 league, we will allow all assists. That said, we strongly recommend that drivers don’t use the braking, steering or pit assists – for obvious reasons these may lead to unnecessary collisions. As before, the game rules will be set to corner cutting only. We have a team of stewards on hand to adjudicate on any incidents that may occur – they may give warnings, time or position penalties where necessary.
To sign up, just post a comment on this article. In the F25 you can choose your teammate and team name. Once you have a teammate, you should give 3 preferences for which car you will drive (a 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice). Try to arrange a team before you sign up, so you can give us your team name and car preferences all at once. If you sign up without a teammate, we will fix you up with a fellow driver in an available car (note that teams have priority for choosing cars).
