Hey guys,
Hope you all enjoyed the events we did on the last 2 Saturdays. This weekend we’re going to have our third and last event before the actual F25 league starts again.
The Friendly Fire Challenge: An idea by @Rhobium, created a little more than 2 years ago which was a great success. We’d like to do it again with some tweaks in the rules and weather settings.
The main idea is to finish as far in front of your AI teammate as you can in a series of 3 lap races. You score 1 point for every position you finish in front of your teammate, or -1 point for every position you are behind him!
Starting order of the grid is going to be random. Contenders are gonna switch cars every race to keep it semi-fair. Crashing people off is allowed but be smart about it regarding where your teammate is driving.
I hope to see you on Saturday!

Hello everybody, and welcome to our second F25 season for Codemasters’ F1 2014!
Season 8 is go! Last time out saw the dominant @Scottydog69uk steaming to his third title – even starting from the back, he was unstoppable! Can anyone match him this time round? We’re looking forward to another season of spectacular overtakes, amazing battles and most of all, a load of fun and fair racing.
As per usual for the F25 league, we will allow all assists. That said, we strongly recommend that drivers don’t use the braking, steering or pit assists – for obvious reasons these may lead to unnecessary collisions. As before, the game rules will be set to corner cutting only. We have a team of stewards on hand to adjudicate on any incidents that may occur – they may give warnings, time or position penalties where necessary.
To sign up, just post a comment on this article. In the F25 you can choose your teammate and team name. Once you have a teammate, you should give 3 preferences for which car you will drive (a 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice). Try to arrange a team before you sign up, so you can give us your team name and car preferences all at once. If you sign up without a teammate, we will fix you up with a fellow driver in an available car (note that teams have priority for choosing cars).
Below are the Race Settings and our race Calendar.

Thanks for reading this post and we hope to see you on track in Austria and Germany!

Hello Guys!
We hope you all had a great Mini-Games organized by YuckierDragon! Although that was most likely a blast, we also would like to organize some normal racing events. Starting with this one. The plan is to have either a 50% or 100% race. How will we determine that you may ask? Well that’s very simple, majority of the votes will decide which one it will be! Even though we will be voting to determine the length of the race, it will be completely at random which track we will race at! So it could be a full rain race at Monaco or perhaps a dry one at Monza. Anything could happen!
See you out there on track guys!

We greatly enjoyed our previous minigames events, so it had to come back. We are just waiting for another Canada pit massacre to happen :) For the people new the club, just sign up and have a hilarious evening.
To give you guys a headsup, the minigames consist of the following races :
You can sign up for this event by giving a check in the poll.
Edit
Standings are presented in the end of both videos posted below.

Congrats to the champ, Scottydog69uk.
What is there to be done about his dominance? Starting from the back and still he takes the championship with twelve beers in his hand. Other old timers like Texxon2211 and Yuckierdragon only had a couple of good races and basically didn’t deliver. Previous F25 winner MinedPolecat34 had a hard time to get all the points in because the young bloods like Raven and Bobthe(ass)dealer did show some incredible pace.
If all the drivers want a shot at the season 8 F25 championship, they need to get their shit together to keep the Dog at bay ;P
Props to the surprise of the season, Frenzy. No more Mr. Backmarker, but definitely a contender for the championship. And even though it was not squeaky clean, no major incidents happened during the season. Maximum warning remained at two. That’s what we like to see :)
Season 8 will start again on the 7th of February. Sign up post will be setup 1-2 weeks prior the start of the new season. In the mean time, we will organise an event each Saturday starting with minigames on the 17th January.
