By almost all measures the inaugural season of ACF1 has been an enormous success. It doesn’t seem that long ago that our late night discussions about creating a new mod based on a more customisable and stable racing platform began and I think we can all be immensely proud of what we’ve achieved.
We’ve seen some truly spectacular racing that I’m deeply proud to have been a part of, some tough intra-team battles and seen some of the best racers go head to head in battles of outright pace, strategy and nerve.
However – it seems that we over stepped the mark with the number of races we put into Season 1’s calendar and as such, the numbers have been dwindling of late.
Rather than waste time and push onward we’ve taken the decision to end the season slightly early to allow us to focus more on other events while we gear up for Season 2. Expect to see exciting shorter-format races based on some incredible cars as well as announcements about Season 2 after Christmas.
